The enterprise started with its production in 1969. Large investments into development of modern technologies provide a constant presence of the enterprise on the domestic markets and the demanding markets of the European Community. The enterprise has developed its own technology for the production of disc brakes for karting, motorcycles, passenger cars, lorries, trucks, off-road machinery, industrial friction elements and alike. Due to taken challenges and the long-term experiences the enterprise managed to break through the top of the production of disc break pads for higher load, appearing mainly on the races. In that way SINTER became one of the largest suppliers of the disc brakes for the manufacturers of kartings all over Europe and in other parts of the world. The European and the world champions certify the quality of Sinter's products. SINTER is also successful in transfering of know-how to the foreign manufacturers of the brake pads.
